Ian accepts board position with Bristol Community Housing Foundation

Following a historic agreement between the boards of United Housing and Britol Community Housing Foundation, Ian has joined the board of Bristol Community Housing Foundation and has now been elected Chair of the Audit & Risk Committee.

The new strategic partnership is now known as United Communities. BCHA and United Housing still exist legally but the staff have merged into one organisation and the boards meet co-terminously to deal with the business of both housing associations. The resulting economies of scale have resulted in cash savings which are now being reinvested in providing a wider range of services to tenants, more repairs and improvements to existing homes and new homes for those in need.
